Through 25+ years of life & Christian ministry, Jennifer has had the honor of pouring into women of all ages and stages of life, walking with them through a wide variety of crises and struggles. Through prayer and counsel from God’s Word, she delights in anchoring women and couples in the hope of Jesus as they navigate issues such as parenting challenges, health struggles, infertility, miscarriage, marital and relationship struggles, and finding identity as children of God. Due to her own intimate experiences with life in ministry, Jennifer also has a particular interest in caring for women in ministry and minister’s wives, including church planters and women on the mission field. She believes in an integrated holistic approach to health by addressing the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being of her clients and is passionate to share the love of Jesus as our true source of healing and strength with those she coaches. Jennifer holds a BS degree from Texas A&M and worked in Actuarial Consulting before becoming a full-time pastor's wife and mom. She and her husband Matt Carter have 3 children. Together they planted Austin Stone Community Church in 2002 and moved to Sagemont Church in 2020 for Matt to become the lead pastor. Jennifer's heartbeat has always been sharing the love of Jesus through discipleship, mentoring, counseling, shepherding, caring for, and loving the people that the Lord puts in her path.
