The JHI (Grades 6-8) and High School (Grades 9-12) Students at Sagemont are among the best anywhere! These students work hard to foster authentic relationships with the Lord and each other, resulting from a sense of transparency and accountability. As they grow and develop their faith, they put it into practice by serving and sharing with other around them. If you are in grades 6-12, come get involved this week!
JHI Students begin iCONNECT in their pre-assigned small groups located in various locations around the Great Room. Following small groups students will join together in The Great Room for a time of worship and praise and a large group lesson led by our Student Ministry staff.
After a time of worship and praise, the Bible teacher for this group, Chuck Davenport (High School Minister), will teach the assigned scripture. After large group the students will go to their small groups for a discussion led by their small group leader to apply what has been taught to their lives.
If your student is new to the ministry and would like to be placed in a small group please contact our assistant Tracy Cox at during the week. On Sunday mornings we ask that all visiting students should report to the Great Room where they can be placed into a small group. These groups are important to your students spiritual development and provide opportunities to make our large group small.
All students are invited to come hang out and play games in the Courtyard area prior to their service time. The courtyard will remain open until 7:30 pm allowing JHI students to hang out after their service until other programming across campus is completed. We ask that students of all ages are picked up by 8 pm.
After a time of activities/games in the courtyard, there will be a time of worship and praise. Our Student Ministry staff will lead the service to encourage the students in their walk with the Lord, relationships with each other, and building unity in the group.
After a time of worship and praise, Chuck Davenport (High School Minister) will lead the service to encourage students in their walk with the Lord, relationships with each other. Unity in this group and the health of this group is very important to the effectiveness of our Student Ministry.
