Even with our best intentions, our flesh can lead us astray. A simple conversation between friends quickly turns to gossip. Someone accepts a position to serve in an area of church only because they want to build themselves up rather than build up the kingdom of God. The outcomes of these scenarios will turn out disastrous! That is why it is imperative that we are always led through life by the Holy Spirit. When we are led by the Spirit, we are aligned with the will of God which will produce peace and blessings.

To ensure that we are continuously in the will of God and not operating by our flesh, your Pastor Search Team will spend a significant time in prayer individually and as a group. Currently, our prayer focus includes:

• protection of each other;
• preparation of the future pastor of Sagemont;
• the search process; and
• the Sagemont Church family.
