Sagemont Mother's Day Out is offered for children ages six weeks-old through four years-old. It is held from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on Mondays and Thursdays. Register online, or registration forms are available in the Sagemont Kids Office. A completed Sagemont Mother's Day Out registration form with a copy of your child’s insurance card and a non-refundable $150 registration fee is required to secure a spot.

Our Philosophy
The preschool years are years of wonder and discovery! They are filled with fun and exciting opportunities for young children to satisfy their natural curiosity about the world around them! Our program provides preschoolers with age-appropriate activities that allow them to do just that in a safe and nurturing environment. We also believe that children first learn about God through the people around them. Therefore, we want them to experience the love of God through their caring teachers. We integrate spiritual concepts and practices into their activities in order to provide a biblical foundation for the rest of their lives.
About Our Program
We believe that children learn through play, exploration, and discovery. Our program utilizes a center-based approach where children have the opportunity to explore activities in learning centers such as Art, Puzzles, Games, Blocks, Books, Dramatic Play, Science, and Math. We incorporate the Wee Learn and ABEKA curriculums, which are Bible-based curriculums divided into thematic units as well as activities to teach the beginnings of literacy. Our toddlers and preschoolers visit one of our indoor playgrounds each day.
Each Sagemont Mother's Day Out day, our preschoolers attend Chapel. This is a fun-filled time that our children learn about Christ through puppets, songs, story, and memory verses.
On Mondays they attend Story Time. Each week your child will learn about a specific theme and the story teacher integrates age-appropriate books for each class.
On Thursday children go to Music and Movement class. During this class, they focus on strengthening large motor skills through physical activities. In addition to these weekly activities, we incorporate monthly specialty days too.
Our classrooms are staffed by Christian teachers who have a heart for young children and view it as a true ministry. They are trained in meeting the needs of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. We use the following student/teacher ratios as our guideline:
Student/Teacher Ratio
- Birth – 12 months 4:1
- 13 – 23 months 5:1
- Twos – Threes 7:1
- Fours – Fives 8:1
Enrollment
Enrollment in Sagemont Mother's Day Out is for the period of one school year (September-May). Enrollment is on a first come first served basis. Once all spaces are filled, a waiting list will be formed. For more information please contact Lisa Andrews at 281.481.7120 or .
