To serve in Student Ministry means helping students from 6th Grade to 12th Grade take their next step following Jesus.

Volunteer Opportunity Roles:

• Door Greeters: Welcome families as they enter the appropriate wing to drop off their children, ensuring each tag is checked for correct wing entry. We will need volunteers for both Sundays (9:00AM & 10:20AM) and Wednesday Midweek (6:30PM) services.

• Connection Team:  This team greets first-time guests, registers them in the system, and/or escorts new families to their child's class. We will need volunteers for both Sundays (9:00AM & 10:20AM) and Wednesday Midweek (6:30PM) services.

• Grow Group Leaders:  Responsible for facilitating discussion using the Sagemont Discipleship Tool. You will be leading 6 to 10 students at a table. These groups will be gender and grade specific. You will help hold students accountable with weekly check-up questions. This position is for Sundays at 10:20AM.

• Connect Group Leader: These groups will be grade specific, but co-ed. The leaders in this group will focus on helping students connect through building friendships. These groups will be bigger (30 to 50 students). You will work with other leaders trying to help students navigate creating new friendships but also develop the ones they already have. This position is for Wednesdays at 6:30PM.

•  Event-Based Leader: This position is more flexible and not a weekly requirement. These leaders would be on our first call list for student ministry events.
