Francisco Berrones
Francisco’s passion for working with college-age students developed while working as a Resident Advisor in his college years at Southern Nazarene University as he helped students transition into adulthood, find community, and utilize new resources. This passion led him to pursue a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Houston - Clear Lake where he graduated in 2024. In this time, Francisco gained experience counseling in a college campus setting and at a private practice.
He passionately integrates faith into the counseling process by helping instill hope, healing, and perseverance. He wants his clients to feel seen and be known, helping them get the most out of counseling. His experience includes utilizing Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Short-Term Solution-Focused Therapy.
Francisco works with a diverse group of clients including those navigating feelings of hopelessness, anxiety, grief, pornography and compulsive sexual behavior, anger management, and career exploration.
When he isn’t conducting therapy, Francisco likes to spend time with his wife, play soccer, enjoy nature, and watch college football.
