Ashli Hedrick

Ashli completed her graduate training at the University of Houston–Clear Lake and has spent many years involved in Christian teaching, counseling, and ministry. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, she enjoys working with adolescents, trauma survivors, blended families, and those connected to adoption and foster care. She is a Certified Anger Resolution Therapist and has advanced training in EMDR, a research‑supported approach to trauma recovery. Ashli believes that while vulnerability can feel intimidating, it is often where healing begins. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients and strives to create a warm, peaceful environment where they can navigate life’s challenges and experience God’s presence (John 16:33).

Using a person‑centered approach, Ashli meets each client with empathy, grace, and unconditional positive regard. Guided by her faith, she seeks to follow Jesus’ example of meeting people where they are and offering love without conditions. Her desire is to extend that same compassion as she helps clients take meaningful steps toward the life God has called them to live.

Ashli’s background includes work in trauma and resilience, addiction, anger management, couples counseling, and supporting individuals through a wide range of personal and relational challenges. She is committed to providing a safe, nurturing space where clients feel heard, valued, and encouraged, and she believes that integrating Christian principles can bring deep healing and growth (2 Corinthians 1:3–4).

Outside of her professional work, Ashli is part of a blended family and a proud parent of four boys. Parenting has strengthened her faith and continually reminds her of the grace and growth God invites His people into each day. She loves learning and views it as a way to steward the gifts God has given her as she serves both her family and her clients well.
