Mike is blessed to serve as Co-Director of The Lodge at Danbury alongside his wife Nelda. He has been a member of Sagemont Church since November 1997 and enjoys serving as co-director of Special Friends iCONNECT (Bible study for special needs adults) as well as being a deacon. At the Lodge, some of Mike’s duties include helping to manage the Lodge operations, working with the volunteer grounds crew and weekend hosts, and meeting the needs of all the different groups and fishermen that come to the Lodge. One of his favorite jobs is to mow around the lakes with the tractor. He and Nelda have been married since 1965. His family includes: Michelle and Troy Martin, Laurie Taylor, Caleb and Robin Cannon, Layth, Paige, Mia, and Cody Taylor, Taylor, Ethan, Kyrie, Elissa, and Erikka Martin, Caleb, Braeden, and Reese Cannon. Besides enjoying all the wonderful opportunities his “job” allows, Mike loves to fish, read, spend time with family, friends, and sit on the front porch and enjoy the lake and sunsets.
