Kendra earned her Master of Arts degree in Christian Counseling from Houston Baptist University in December 2010. She is licensed in the state of Texas as Licensed Professional Counselor. Kendra began her professional career in the elementary school classroom. After four years of teaching, she began working in the counseling field. Kendra has experience leading social skills and divorce care groups for children and adolescents as well as working with adolescents and adults with mood disorders. At the core of her work, Kendra believes every individual is uniquely created in the image of God, and she delights in assisting individuals in achieving their full potential. Her particular areas of interest include working with children, women, and families in matters pertaining to developmental delays, disabilities, addiction, and trauma. She works with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and life experiences. She also welcomes the integration of Christian principles and prayer into her work with clients.
