We are monitoring the severe weather threat to the Houston area and we will update you here on future services and activities as the weather event progresses.

Sagemont Church is now hosting the Lutheran South Academy while their buildings are repaired from hurricane damage. We are excited for this partnership and are looking forward to helping our neighbors. Because of the space needed to help the school, and because we want our members to be free to help their own neighbors in recovery, a number of regular Sagemont events and/or classes are cancelled. The following are cancelled for the fall:
Before You Say “I Do”
Prayer with the Pastor
Financial Peace University
Men’s Ministry AM & PM Bible Studies
Parenting Through the Middle Years PM
Precept AM & PM Bible Studies
Women’s Ministry AM & PM Bible Studies
Women’s Ministry AM & PM Bible Studies
Women’s Ministry PM Prayer Meeting

As of today, the Food Pantry operation in the Sagemont Annex is closed. Our church is transitioning from a local food pantry to an area distribution center. Opportunities to volunteer and donate will be communicated at a later date.
Wednesday night dinners in The Hall are cancelled until further notice due to the flood damage in The Hall.
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 4: Some regular activities will resume this week. Sagemont Centre for the Arts lessons will begin on Tuesday, September 5, and Sagemont Playschool will begin as scheduled on Thursday, September 7.
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 3: We will gather the church together at 9:30 am in the Worship Center for a time of prayer, worship, and information. Those who normally attend the Sagemont Contemporary services and the Sagemont en Español service will join the service in the Worship Center this week as our church family meets together. Make plans to join your church family for this important service. Child care will be provided for children ages birth through 3 years. There will be no iCONNECT Bible Study classes this week.
TUESDAY, AUGUST 29: The church offices and campus will remain closed for the remainder of the week. All activities are cancelled through Saturday, September 2, including Wednesday night service and activities. We will tentatively plan to have services on Sunday, September 3. Please continue to provide living proof of a loving God by aiding your neighbors and church family as you safely can.
