In this last lesson on our strategy for being living proof of a loving God to a watching world we focus on giving. There have been many lessons on giving in Christianity but this lesson focuses on an area of giving not commonly addressed by Bible teachers.

This is the first lesson in this series focusing on the Jehovah’s Witness. This lesson looks at a brief history of the first five presidents of the organization and sets forth the purpose and direction of this lesson series.

Lesson 01 - Appendix This is a 27 page appendix to Lesson 01 entitled The Failed Prophecies of the Jehovah’s Witness. This appendix includes 180 failed prophecies in chronological order from 1877 to 1995. Each entry is quoted directly from the printed material of the Jehovah’s Witness publications.

This lesson focuses on the beliefs of the Jehovah’s Witnesses that are in common with our own beliefs. Every false religion has within their teachings things that are true. This lesson looks at those truths as a starting off place for questioning the JW that come to your door. Included in this lesson is a chart of their beliefs taken directly from their official website.

Lesson 02 - Appendix The chart entitled “What Jehovah’s Witnesses Believe” taken from the official website is included in the lesson exactly like it is found on the site.  This appendix takes that same chart and replaces the Scripture references with the actual verses so you do not have to look up each reference in your Bible.

Lesson 3 focuses on the Jehovah’s Witness belief that the “soul ceases to exist when a person dies.” In this lesson we look at the context of each proof text to see the true intent of God found in each passage

Lesson 4 continues with the topic of lesson 3. In this lesson we delve into the formation, operation, and theology of the body, soul, and spirit.

Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that the soul ceases to exist at death like the body and spirit. This lesson compares their belief with ours concerning the Body, Soul, and Spirit.

A question that we all ask is “were do we go when we die?” Following up on lesson 5, this lesson deals with the topic of Hell. Jehovah’s Witnesses believe it is not a literal place.

The Passover was a turning point in the life of the Nation of Israel. This lesson covers the events of the Passover night in Egypt.
