About
the Centre for the Arts
The
Centre for the Arts offers lessons and
classes each fall, spring, and summer
for students of all ages and
backgrounds. Enrollment is not limited
to members of Sagemont Church; it is a
goal of the Centre to support the visual
and performing arts programs of area
churches, schools, and other community
arts programs. The Centre's course
offerings are continually updated and
modified as needed.
Private
Lessons and group classes are taught
weekly at Sagemont Church. Private
lessons are available in many of the
musical instruments at beginner and
advanced levels. Group classes are
available in art and music. Art and
music classes are grouped according to
age and subject.
Our Mission
People are
created first and foremost to worship
God. The Bible also calls us to do
everything with excellence. The Sagemont
Centre for the Arts exists to help
students of all ages develop their
artistic talents so that they may
worship the Lord in creative ways to the
best of their abilities.
The Sagemont
Centre for the Arts is a branch of the
Worship & Praise Ministry of Sagemont
Church and is staffed by qualified
Christian instructors who, in keeping
with
Sagemont Church's mission, provide
living proof of a loving God to a
watching world. Within this Christian
environment, curricula encompass many
styles within each art and are not
necessarily limited to religious themes
or sacred music/art.
