Each of us has the privilege of being a part of the Living Proof Project. Blessings follow obedience, so the first step in participating is seeking God’s guidance in your personal commitment. God hears His children’s prayers, and He will guide you as you seek His will for you and your family.

 

Begin now in praying for what God would have you to give. Be open to His direction. God has often done the biggest things through the least likely people!   From November 4 through 17, work through the Guide for Prayer booklet with your family as you pray together for wisdom concerning your family’s commitment.   In a few weeks, you will receive a commitment card in the mail. Using the commitment card, indicate the total amount you are asking God to let you give over the next 36 months. Remember, this commitment card is not signed. Only you and God will know what you have committed.   Bring the completed commitment card with you to the morning services on Sunday, November 18. Cards will be collected during the worship services.   If you cannot attend a service on November 18, please mail your commitment card back to the church in the envelope that will be provided with the card.   Give as much of your commitment as possible as part of the cash offering on December 2 as we celebrate together the work God has begun.

As you begin to seek God, be open to the possibility that He will allow you to step out in faith and make a commitment that you never would have thought possible. Look beyond your current provision and circumstances and ask God if He will allow you to be a vessel of blessing for such a time as this by making the largest gift you have ever made - an amount beyond what you would ever dream you alone could do. It could be that God wants to use your obedience and faith to bless many people in decades to come, but you will not know unless you ask!
