Sagemont has an iConnect Class for a very important group of adults. The Special Friends class is for special needs adults. This class meets every Sunday and studies the Bible just like a regular iConnect class. Also, just like any other class, they meet for retreats and fellowship. The Special Friends class gathered at the Danbury Retreat center for a weekend of fellowship, fishing and fun. Along the way, they listened to the Word of God and learned more about Him. These people love the Lord and everyone is special to Him.

Dr. Robert Byemba tells of his story of leaving the Congo with his family to escape civil war to arrive in Arusha Tanzania with only the clothes on their backs. He tells about his journey and how he found a wonderful church fellowship. He, a nurse missionary and then the church's pastor had a vision to create a local health care center in their neighborhood.

We visit a medical charity in Houston called Medical Bridges. This group relies heavily on volunteers in its mission to recycle and re-purpose donated medical supplies from hospitals, doctors offices, nursing homes or from individuals that are almost expired or opened and unused but not able to be used in the United States. They supply hospitals, clinics and doctors in over 80 countries around the world. Sagemont Church has a group of over 25 dedicated volunteers that work several times a month there. Sagemont’s volunteer leader to Medical Bridges is Nancy Brooks, a retired RN from Methodist Hospital.

Sagemont Church & Orchestra member, Alan Edge brought to the church orchestra a need of one of his band students. The student had cancer and was in need of a new saxophone. He couldn't afford it due to the costs of his medical treatment. The Sagemont Orchestra raised the funds needed and his family was shown God's living proof when he was presented his new sax.

Robert Osborn is a biker, he owns a motorcycle shop and is heavily invested in that lifestyle. After a life of rebellion, he was confronted with a simple presentation of the gospel and that one event changed his entire life.

In March of 2009 Sagemont Church went on a mission trip to the Philippines. We Took a group of students and worked in the schools there and in hunger relief centers & showed God love to everyone by being Living Proof of a Loving God.
