Denny Autrey, a Sagemont member, tells the story of his father's sudden illness and death close to Christmas time and how he and his family dealt with the loss.

This program highlights the Son Light Pet Ministry of Sagemont Church. In this package, we meet several residents of a full-time care facility and members of the Pet ministry team and see how the love of Christ is shown by the volunteers just taking a few moments to let the residents meet their pets and allow the pets to meet them.

Steve and Kathy Perry are long-time members of Sagemont Church. When they were expecting their 5th child, they were informed that the baby had a cleft lip & palette. After Matthew was born, and after several operations, his body was began to heal very well. Sometime after his first birthday, he began to suffer some setback in his speech and development. They were shocked with a diagnosis of autism.

The story begins here with Kathy telling of their pouring their lives into their son’s teachers at school and encouraging them and helping them not only with their own child, but also with the other children in his class. The Perry family showed God’s living proof to the often forgotten & overworked teachers of special needs children in public schools.

Dr. LeRoy Skip Smith is the Associate Pastor of Membership at Sagemont. Dr. Skip has been in the ministry for over 60 years now and through those years of experience, he’s learned about the importance of spiritual protection. Not just the spiritual protection needed by those in the ministry but especially those of us who face the struggles of everyday life.

Former Sagemont member, Julie Stobbe, tells the story of her life as an adopted child and through her life experience of meeting her birth mother and becoming an adult led her to begin a adoption awareness ministry called “Act of Life.”

Charles Simpson tells how Sagemont ministered to him and his family during his several yearlong battle with cancer. He describes the closeness to his iConnect class and how they have encouraged him and his wife for the past 3 years.

Stuart Rothberg hosts a discussion between Mike Schumacher, director of Sagemont's Counseling Center and one of the center's licensed professional counselors, Huston McComb.

This program continues the stories of 2 families and how they were affected by something that is addicting as cocaine, pornography. This program shows the healing & forgiveness process. All of the participants show the importance of accountability in the recovery process.

Galen Crawford thought that he was basically a good man. He had no real need for God or no real hate for God either. But as he went through life, Galen began to feel inadequate to the task. He felt that he could be a better husband and father. He really didn’t know what was missing until his brother Darwin invited him and his son to a father/son retreat.
As the weekend went on, Galen realized that many in the group had something that he didn’t. Galen began a journey of discovery to find what he didn’t have.
