Giveaway/Sacrifice That
Is Rewarding
Dr. John D. Morgan,
Senior Pastor |
Air Date

Sagemont always
tries to show Living
Proof to everyone,
on a day in June of
2008, we tried to
show it in a
tangible way by
giving away 500 gift
cards for gas at a
local supermarket.
This not only
affected the people
of our own
neighborhood, but
those who were
giving away the
cards and pumping
the gas.

A Message from
Prison/Compassion That
Is Sincere
Dr. John D. Morgan,
Senior Pastor |
Air Date
6/08/2008 |
Recently, Sagemont &
the Less Than The
Least Prison
Ministry took a trip
to the Darrington
Unit of the Texas
Department of
Corrections. Since
it was a Sunday,
there was a service
in the chapel. Chuck
Schneider spoke and
several of the
volunteers helped to
lead in worship.
Before the service,
several of the
inmates wanted to
give a personal
message to those of
us on the outside.
They all warned
about the
consequences of
making wrong
decisions, rebelling
and especially the
freedom they found
in Jesus Christ.

Philippines Mission
Trip This story is
about how anyone
from a teen to a
senior adult can go
and bring the love
of Christ to anyone
in the world. The
team members of this
trip also discuss
how trips can change
the lives of others
but more importantly
how these trips
change theri own
lives giving them a
desire to speak and
bring the message of
Christ to everyone.
A Mandate From The
Master January 06,
2008 Matthew
28:18-20, Acts 1:7-8
The most important
entrustment of the
Lord to His
disciples is the
gospel message.
Jesus gave His last
commandments
instructing His
disciples to go
teach all they had
learned to the new
followers and, by
doing so, make them
disciples. No one
can be a disciple of
Jesus and not know
and obey His
commandments.

Stress In The
Ministry/The Imperative
of Authenticity
Dr. John D. Morgan,
Senior Pastor |
Air Date
5/11/2008 |
Pastors and others
in full-time
ministry face
situations and
stresses that most
people don’t
realize. Several of
these things are
also complicated by
our own emotional
baggage that we
bring into the
ministry. Every
quarter Sagemont
offers a conference
just for ministers
who are facing
crisis in their
ministry or their
own home life. This
conference is also
offered for people
who want to learn
how to avoid these
things before they
are burned out.
Dixon Murrah and a
pastor who graduated
from the conference
are interviewed.

RV Club/Trinity
Pines/The Waiting Father
Dr. John D. Morgan,
Senior Pastor |
Air Date
5/04/2008 |
God can use anyone
doing almost
anything to reach
the lost. Sagemont’s
RV Club goes to the
Trinity Pines Camp
on Lake Livingston
every year to do
landscaping, repair
and construction
projects. The club
has just asked to be
a servant and to
bless the staff
there at the camp.
By the club and
other groups
volunteering
throughout the year,
the camp save
hundreds of
thousands of dollars
in labor costs of
hiring the work out.
This savings allows
the donations to the
camp to be spent on
the ministry of the
camp in reaching the
lost for Christ. As
the director of the
camp said, “They
found out what God
was doing and they
got in on it…”

Daniel Pursley/The
Truth About Sin
Dr. John D. Morgan,
Senior Pastor |
Air Date
4/13/2008 |
Sagemont staff
member Daniel
Pursley at the age
of one, was taken,
along with his young
brother to his
Grandparents’ home
to live after his
mother and father
split up. His
grandparents were
very godly people
and raised Dan and
his brother. After
accepting Christ at
the age of 8, Dan
began a long
drifting away form
the Lord. In his
late teens, he began
reading his Bible
every day knowing
that it would bring
him back closer to
the Lord. It did!
And what a change to
his life it brought.
And what Satan meant
for evil, God meant
for good. Dan, while
at work, is
responsible for the
audio recordings of
our services, but
away from here, he’s
actively involved
with street ministry
and witnessing to
others of what
Christ has done in
his life.
