With Us?
Dr. John D. Morgan,
Senior Pastor |
Air Date
3/16/2008 |
The story of
Sagemont member Raul
Gonzales is a story
of a modern-day
prodigal son. Raul,
raised in a good
home, in his high
school years began
running around with
the wrong crowd and
began to make bad
decisions. He became
involved with drugs
and began stealing
to support his
habit.
Then on one night in
December 2007, Raul
was caught stealing
and was shot in the
head. The Lord
miraculously
protected him that
night and he only
suffered minor
wounds. God now had

experiences of the
bad times and then
share how the Lord
changed everything.
They also explain
that even though the
family has been
restored, they still
face bumps in the

Journey/Jesus First,
Jesus Second, Jesus
Third
Dr. John D. Morgan,
Senior Pastor |
Air Date
1/06/2008 |
This simple story of
the Student Ministry
of Sagemont shows
how not only how we
minister to students
but how we prepare
them for life. We
show what journey is
and what Journey
does by taking
students on a
weekend journey to
discover more about
the Christian walk.
This weekend is
intense with Bible
study, worship,
teaching and
activities to
prepare students to
not only show their
faith through their
living, but to speak
about their faith to
others. This segment
shows the 40 days
before Journey where
the students
committed to fast
from something that
took time away from
the Lord and then
use that time in
prayer and petition
to the Lord to move
in a mighty way
during Journey.
Students are also
asked to bring their
lost friends so that
they begin their own
journey to Christ.
