Ministry Policies
The Sagemont
Church Library Ministry includes
audiocassettes, books, compact
disks, and videocassettes/DVDs.
We hope you will find the
following information helpful in
making full use of your Library.
The Library staff will be glad
to assist you with all of your
media needs.
Items can be renewed by phone by
calling 281-481-7128 or email to
Carol Roeder. The only
information required is the name
of the person who has the media
checked out and the title of the
media.
Check-Out
Procedures
- In order
to check out materials from
the Library Ministry, you
must fill out a library
application.
- All
library applications must be
signed by an adult (18 years
or older).
- Library
applications are not given
out to children. An adult
must come to the library to
sign the card.
- Each
person listed on the library
application may be given a
library card to be used each
time the patron checks out
media.
- To
replace a lost library card,
50 cents may be charged.
Check-Out Items
Audiocassettes
-
There is a
limit of four individual
tapes and/or 2 audio albums
per family.

Individual
tapes and audio albums are
checked out for two weeks
and may be renewed one.

The fine for
overdue tapes is 5 cents per
day per tape or audio album
with a maximum fine of
$10.00.
Books
- There is
a limit of two books per
child.
- Adults
are limited to 20 books.
- Books are
checked out for two weeks
and may be renewed once.
- The fine
for overdue books is 5 cents
per day per book with a
maximum fine of $10.00.
Compact
Discs [must be 12 years old
and up to check out CDs]
- There is
a limit of 4 CDs per family.
- There is
a limit of 2 CDs per child
ages 12 and up.
- CDs are
checked out for 2 weeks and
may be renewed once.
- The fine
for overdue CDs is 5 cents
per day per CD with a
maximum fine of $5.00 per
CD.
Videocassettes/DVDs [must be
18 years old and up to check out
Videocassettes/DVDs]
- There is
a limit of two videos per
family.
- Videos
are checked out for one week
(7 days) and may be renewed
once.
- The fine
for overdue videos is 50
cents per day per tape with
a maximum fine of $10.00.
- Adults
must initial the application
card that they wish to check
out videos and have read the
policies concerning same.
