The Amazing gRace class purpose is
to help young married couples
prepare for their married life
ahead-- the Lord has blessed us with
our spouse, now we need to follow
His direction and run the race to
win and to win with joy! One Bible
verse the class has adopted as a
class verse is:
But none of these
things move me; nor do I count
my life dear to myself, so that
I may finish my race with joy,
and the ministry which I
received from the Lord Jesus, to
testify to the gospel of the
grace of God.
Acts 20:24 NKJ
The class teaching focuses on both
Bible study and Biblical marriage
building topics. In addition to the
class Bible study time, the Amazing
gRace class also has an active men's
Bible study that meets every two
weeks and a lady's day where women
(and their children if they have
them) get together monthly on a
weekday for fellowship and
encouragement.
The class is set up to build strong
relationships within the class, look
for ways to serve others in need,
and share the Gospel. We have four
active teams in our class: iConnect,
iPray, iCare, and iServe.
The iConnect team plans fellowship
activities and promotes connectivity
within the class. We do not want
anyone to get lost or left out and
we do want every couple to feel
welcomed and loved. The iPray team
is committed to praying for the
class direction and needs of the
class members. The iCare team
provides meals and a helping hand to
assist our own class members in time
of need. And finally, the iServe
team organizes service projects
outside of our class so that we can
share the Gospel with those outside
our walls.
We would love to have you come for a
visit and give us the chance to meet
you and your spouse. The world in
which we live today is fast paced
and we continually have competing
priorities. Our goal is focused on
running the race that the Lord Jesus
has given us and running with joy!
