Him

Co-Directors: Greg & Martha
Myers, Mark & Belinda Reed
We
want to welcome you to the
Hearts for Him Bible Study Class
at Sagemont Church. Our class
consists of wonderful young
married couples ranging in age
from 30 to 40, with a few in
their mid forties sprinkled in.
The couples in the class have
children of all ages.
The class is taught by Mike Schumacher.
The curriculum usually consists
of studies through one of the
books of the Bible. Mike is very down to
earth and encourages class
interaction in the studies. Your
personal walk with God will
truly be enriched from the
studies.
We also have Shepherd Groups set
up within the class to allow for
better communication between
members. These groups get
together every month or two to
socialize and become better
acquainted with each other. The
groups also provide a vehicle in
which to reach out to members in
the class who are in need.
Once a month, we have a Men’s
Night Out and a Ladies’ Night
Out. The activities include
bowling, softball, skeet
shooting, paintball, laser tag,
disc golf, etc. for the men and
coffee time, baby showers,
Bunko, scrap booking, etc. for
the ladies.
Every other month we have a
class social with complimentary
child care provided at the
church. The socials have
included dinners in Kemah,
Hawaiian Night, Bunko Night,
video scavenger hunts, or just
meeting at one of the members’
homes for dinner and fellowship.
Occasionally we will take on a
project within the class or
together with another Bible
Study Class to reach out to the
community for Christ. Whether
it’s repairing someone’s house,
helping a family move, mowing a
lawn, or providing meals, we
provide living proof of a loving
God to a watching world.
So if you are new to Sagemont
Church or have been attending
for some time and are looking to
get more involved and meet some
exciting couples, we encourage
you to stop by the class on
Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. in
Room 230.

pray for her friend’s

This is a high risk
pregnancy, and she may have

Cynthia as she goes through
this very uncertain time.
Please pray that whatever
God’s will is, that the baby
will be healthy.
