Teachers: Stella Walsh & Barbara
Jenks
We
welcome you to this class, developed
with the purpose to help our
friends, coming from a Catholic
background, to understand our
Christian beliefs, as we study the
Bible passages from which those
beliefs are derived.
This class is not designed to
proselytize or to put down the
Catholic Church. We strive to be
factual, historically accurate,
biblically correct, and respectful
of your views.
We do not teach Catholic Doctrine.
We compare it sometimes with the
teaching of the scripture in order
for you to have a sound basis to
arrive at your own conclusions and
convictions.
All of
our biblical references are taken
from the Roman Catholic New American
Bible. Translated by the
Confraternity of Christian Doctrine
according to the principles of
Vatican II for use in the Catholic
liturgy.
Session
Themes
You will
be given extensive biblical
references on these topics which
will help not only to clarify
certain points, but will also help
you to witness to others.
We meet every Sunday morning at
11:00 a.m. in Room 115. If you need
any help in this journey of
discovery, please feel free to
contact Stella at 281/481-0961 or

Matthew 28:19-20
“Go therefore and make disciples of
all the nations, baptizing them in
the name of the Father and the Son
and the Holy Spirit, teaching them
to observe all that I commanded you;
and lo, I am with you always, even
to the end of the age.”
