Teachers:
Ruth Birdsong, & Lisa Otto

Young and old, married or single, ladies have found the Women of the Word class to be a safe haven to learn more about God through His Word. Fellowship time begins at 9:15 a.m. This provides an opportunity for sisters in Christ to encourage one another over snacks and a cup of coffee or tea. Inspiring teaching by Ruth Birdsong and Lisa Otto follows. These exceptional teachers have many years of experience and, most importantly, a heart desire to see women grow closer to their Lord and Savior through Bible study and prayer.

Regular socials are scheduled throughout the year with free child care provided at the church. These get-togethers might be an evening of Bunko, swimming, or a tacky party where you can show off your tackiest attire. WOW also endeavors to minister within the community by providing Christmas presents to clients of The Bridge and needy families. An overnight retreat, held annually, is always a time of reflection and refreshment.

Various topical and book studies designed to meet the needs of women who want to learn more about God continue throughout the year. If you’re looking to build a stronger relationship with the Lord and make new friends along the way, come join us. Visitors and new members are welcome to pick up the current study at any point.

Bible Study Topic:
Captiviating: Unveiling the Mystery of a Woman's Soul

Synopsis:
Every woman was once a little girl. And every little girl holds in her heart her most precious dreams. She longs to be swept up into a romance, to play an irreplaceable role in a great adventure, to be the beauty of the story. Those desires are the secret to the feminine heart. Your longings and desires are telling you of the life God created you to live. He offers to come now as the Hero of your story, to rescue your heart and release you to live as a fully alive and feminine woman. (This Bible study ends May 11)
