Our
“Kaleidoscope” Department is a group
of loving, caring people that have a
desire to serve our Lord Jesus
Christ, first and foremost.
Several classes make up our
department profile. We offer Bible
Study in a Ladies’ Class, Men’s
Class, Co-Ed Class, and a Special
Interest Class. All of our classes
are age diverse—all ages are welcome
and represented. Mary Sweeney,
Charles Mayfield, James Bouvier, and
Dr. Jim Hastings are teachers in the
above-mentioned classes. All of our
teachers are dedicated teachers that
prepare their hearts, mind, and
spirit to lead our department
members in a Bible Study that
teaches us how to “walk the talk” of
a true Christian.
We have different department-wide
socials, as well as individual class
socials, throughout the year. These
socials include catered lunches,
picnics, Christmas banquets,
seasonal outings, etc.
Our department supports
approximately 20 pastors monthly
through our Church's “Retired Pastor
Annuity” program.
We have just completed a “Church
Sign” project that raised
approximately $50,000 for the
“Living Proof Project” for our
church signage. We began a new
project on August 6 that will be
completed December 9, and the
results of the project will be
announced at our Department
Christmas Banquet that evening.
