Come
one, come all adults. We have
married couples of all ages—young to
old. We have singles of all
ages—young to old. Some members have
children, some have no children.
Some have children at home, some
have children who are grown and
gone. This is a great class for new
folks or visitors… good solid
teaching by Chuck Schneider and
Stuart Rothberg… not intimidating.
You can participate if you want, or
you can sit back and look and
listen. We usually run 110–130 on a
Sunday. Come check us out!

Welcome to our Bible Study Class!
We really do want you to feel
welcome. We want you to feel
comfortable, as if you were visiting
your best friend’s home.
Perhaps you are just visiting today
with a relative or friend. Perhaps
you are just passing through
Houston. Perhaps you are looking for
a church or Bible Study to attend
regularly. We hope you will enjoy
your time with us.
Most of us came to this church and
Bible Study class searching for a
way to improve our lives. Some of us
were hurting badly. Many of us were
not sure about “church.” Some of us
knew we needed to understand just
who God is and what He teaches.
Others of us had a good
understanding of God and the Bible,
but we knew we needed to learn much
more. Together we are learning more
about God, His precepts, and how we
are to respond to God and to others
in this world. We are all at a
different stage of learning. None of
us have “arrived”—none of us ever
will, not here on this planet.
Look around. You’ll find people here
in suits and wing-tips, jeans and
cowboy boots, dresses and heels, and
slacks and loafers. You’ll meet
lawyers, shift workers, teachers,
sales people, housewives, fry
cooks—young, middle aged, and older
men and women.
Some of us like to talk; some of us
would rather listen and watch. Some
of us like to get involved as soon
as possible. Others of us would
rather wait, rest, and get better
acquainted with people and what is
going on. We don’t want you to feel
pressured. We do want you to feel
accepted…just as you are.
