Membership Involvement

Membership Involvement is the process of Sagemont Church to assist the many visitors who come our way looking for a possible new church home.
Membership Involvement also is designed to assimilate our new members into their new church life.
It is our desire that our visitors receive all the information needed in order to make a prayerful right decision about their church membership.
We also desire to assist the new members in assimilating and connecting in their new church family, to encourage spiritual growth of all members, and to mobilize them to a place or ministry in Sagemont Church.

Before You Say "I DO"

Before You Say “I Do,” is a course for couples considering marriage. Facilitated by Emory and Susan Gadd, the course will be taught by staff members on 7 consecutive Sunday evenings from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Room 133 (adjacent to the Bookstore). Before You Say “I Do” is open to members and non-members of Sagemont Church and is limited to 25 couples. Scheduled dates & times, information and registration brochures are available in the foyers.

While weddings are special, surely they are not as important as the marriage relationship itself. Too often, however, great resources are poured into a ceremony, while couples spend little or nothing preparing for life after the honeymoon.
That is what the before you say I Do seminar is all about - preparing you for marriage. You wil l explore how to improve and maximize your marriage. This class will help you discover the secrets of togetherness. It’s one seminar you can’t afford to miss.
It has been said that marriage is like a telephone call at two o’clock in the morning - first the ring, and then you wake up. If you are dating, engaged, or considering marriage, now is the time to wake up and examine your relationship... before you say “I Do.”

New Member Banquet

Sagemont Church hosts a quarterly banquet to welcome our newest members. If you have recently joined Sagemont, you will be invited to attend the next banquet in The Hall hosted by our staff in your honor. If you missed the last banquet, keep an eye on our upcoming events so that you can register for the next banquet. Students 7th grade and up, are invited to attend the banquet with their parent(s).
Preschool and grade school children will be cared for during this event by checking them in at the Mall area of our Children's Building.
