Sally Hecker has been Jim Hastings’ secretary in the Helping Hands/Membership Assistance Ministry since January 2006. She says it is like being on the front lines of spiritual warfare! They diligently practice Matthew 25:35, 36, to the homeless and indigent, who walk into the Helping Hands Office. Sally answers hundreds of phone calls each week, schedules dozens of appointments for Dr. Hastings each week, and helps coordinate the food drives sponsored by the Helping Hands Ministry. She and her husband, Art, will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary this year. They have three daughters, three sons-in-law, and six grandchildren. Sally loves to baby sit her grandchildren, just not all at once! Sally feels blessed beyond measure to be a part of the Sagemont Church staff. She says it feels more like being a family member than a co-worker!
