Dr. Jim Hastings has served at Sagemont since 1991, first as Student Music Minister, then as Minister of Helping Hands since 1993. He earned his MRE in Education from Southwest Baptist Theological Seminary, and his DMin in Theology from Luther Rice Seminary. On a daily basis, Jim’s primary responsibility is helping church members with tangible needs of all kinds. In addition to this, he also teaches 3 Sunday morning iCONNECT classes. Jim and his wife, Dr. Kay Hastings, have one wonderful daughter, Madison.
