Roy Guel serves as the Minister of Missions at Sagemont Church. He has a wonderful wife named Patricia (Patsie) of 23 years, and they have four children—Greg, Jacob, Marcus, and Amy—who keep them very active at church, school, and play. Roy had the privilege of growing up in a fine Christian home. His father, a retired pastor and a man of high morals and impeccable integrity, was a Godly role model for Roy and is the man he most admires.

As Minister of Missions, Roy has the privilege of working with godly men and women who love the Lord and love His children. He also has the opportunity to travel the world and share God’s love and message with those who don’t know Him. Roy’s desire is to inspire fellow Christians to share their faith with a lost world and to get connected to the biblical mandate for world evangelism called the “Great Commission.” Jesus told us Himself to “be His witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the Ends of the Earth.” Roy’s vision is to see that played out in the lives of our Sagemont Church family as they are Living Proof of a Loving God in our city of Houston, our state, our country, and the whole world.
