Buddy Fortenberry has had the privilege of serving here on staff for 25 of his 36 years in ministry. As the Senior Adult Minister, he feels blessed to serve with the greatest group of folks in the world. Their love for the Savior and desire for their lives to “make a difference” is such an inspiration and encouragement to so many. In addition to seniors, Buddy oversees our Parking Team, Lord’s Supper Team, Retreat Team, Security, Sagemont Outdoor Fellowship, shuttles, and the Lodge at Danbury. Buddy loves the mountains of Colorado, deer and elk hunting, drinking coffee in the swing on the back porch, and spending time with his grandbabies. His wife, Terry, of 34 years, is a tremendous help and support to his ministry. Buddy and Terry have two sons that they are so proud of—Toby and his wife, Leslie, and Troy and his wife, Christin, and three precious grandbabies, T.J., C’Ann, and Deacon James. Buddy is his grandbabies’ Paw Paw.
