The Living Proof
Project addresses two needs. The
first is landscaping that includes a
master-planned design complete with
two lakes, prayer garden, and places
to meditate and worship God the
Creator. The designs for the
landscaping project are complete,
and a vision is becoming a reality.
The second project is a beautiful
new building that will house a
2,400-seat worship auditorium, adult
discipling rooms, prayer room,
bookstore, library, coffee shop,
reception area, foyers for
fellowship, fabulous restrooms, wide
halls, and much more. This 120,000
square foot building, designed by
Shanks Architects in Dallas, will
allow Sagemont to embrace our core
value of excellence as we worship
together and equip people for life
and service. (LINK: page w/ building

In addition to the much needed
landscaping and building, the Living
Proof Project also includes the
construction of a
170-foot cross
that will serve as a symbol of hope
for the thousands that pass our
church campus daily. Jesus said in
John 12:32, “ But I, when I am
lifted up from the earth, will draw
all men to Myself.” In the midst of
building buildings, it is Sagemont’s
priority to lift up the cross and
proclaim the hope of salvation to
our city and world. The cross itself
will sit atop a 2500 square-foot
platform that will be open 24/7,
allowing anyone to come kneel at the
foot of the cross. This area will
also include a grassy amphitheater
that will accommodate 250 people for
weddings, baptisms, and other
meetings and events.
